There is a misconception right now that it’s not the time to buy real estate. The state has deemed real estate an essential service and therefore it continues to move on. 

In South Lake Tahoe the market has slowed considerably, but there is still activity. Since April 1, well after the Governor implemented the Stay in Place order on March 19, there have been 16 new listings, 14 properties under contract and 17 properties sold.

In Kirkwood, while a much smaller market than South Lake Tahoe, there was still one property that went under contract. 

In our boutique office, we have two properties in escrow in Kirkwood and just listed a property in South Lake Tahoe, which already had a showing.
